The Holy Use of Money— Class Begins March 18!
Lots of people turn to prayer and scripture reading to find comfort during difficult times, counsel for tough decisions, hope when things look dark and joy when we’re overwhelmed with gratitude. But did you know that the Bible also has a lot to say about… personal finances?
My mom and yours truly will be teaching a biblical personal finance class at Trinity Episcopal Church in Staunton, VA, beginning March 18. Much of the content will address technical concepts – how to save and invest wisely for big purchases and retirement, pay off debt responsibly, and prepare for the unexpected. We will explore ways to be good stewards of our resources with God’s help. Whether you’re deciding if you need life insurance or trying to figure out how to pay for college, this is a space to ask questions and learn to apply God’s timeless wisdom to an important area of your life.
Join us on Tuesday evenings, 6:45-8pm, March 18 through May 13. Child care provided!
